Today at flynntek we are looking at the Enermax Fulmo ST mid tower pc case

To be honest i have not used a case from Enermax before,as such i did not really know what to expect, and i have to say i am pretty impressed we shall see why later when i list my pro,s and con,s.

The Fulmo ST arrived in a standard case showing the design of the tower and some spec,s.
Packaging was fairly good although the box sustained a hole during transport, but the tower was untouched which proves that the packing was indeed good enough to get from germany to the uk.

Unpacking and build photo,s follow.

Once unpacked i did like the sleek black look of the tower, with mesh style grills on the front and top of the case giving good air dynamic,s.
the side,s of the case are both shaped the same giving plenty of width for cable management on one side and a darkened window on the other,as both sides are the same shape it give,s a pleasing look as some makers would only have one side beveled.

Closer look

The case sent was the standard Fulmo ST with no fan control and only one rear exhaust fan fitted,(a shame as this would have looked fantastic with some high end enermax fans).

However there is more than enough room to fit many more fans, i fit two 120ml fans in the front, there is room for fans on the hdd bays and room for fans on the top of the case(to fit fans here i found that you needed to remove two screws from the front and back of the case top in order to remove it and fit the fans).
there are two usb3 and two usb2 on the case top along with the standard headphone and mic jack,s the power and reset button are a good size and non fiddly with a nice blue glow when powered on.

There is a removable hdd bay for the longest of gpu cards, but am not sure if it would need too be removed as my gpu is standard sized.
Inside the hdd bay was a box with many fittings cable ties velcro straps etc.

The psu mount is on the bottom with a good air ventwhich for me a bottom mount psu is a must.all the grills have a filter type material to help stop dust entering,

Inside the case motherboard mountings are already fitted so i put in an atx motherboard, with standard sized ram and a corsair h50 aio water cooler, which is where it gets interesting,as i found that if you mount the radiator on top of the case, using a push pull configuration then there is only one place to fit it which means a longer radiator would have to be single fan, unless you can mount the second fan on top of the grill.

elsewhere there is no problem at all for space with everything fitted there is lots and lots of breathing room in the case which has to help with airflow and cooling

Pro,s

lots of space
Great air flow
Bottom mounted psu
Awesome side panels
Mesh on top and front

Con,s

Only came with one exhaust fan fitted
no fan control
